...............and from my Sweetie.
Today Don and I went on a "Valentine Road Trip". Our first stop of the morning was coffee and scones at Caribou Coffee. Then back on the road headed toward Chelsea and our second stop, the Chelsea Antique Mall. I found Valentines for my valentine collection, it's about the only time of year I can find a good selection. I also found a reasonably priced cupid picture (15.00) for my bedroom wall where I have a grouping of cupid pictures.
A cool handmade red heart doily
and imagine this a "vintage sweet" tin
We then got back on the road and headed to Ann Arbor. We stopped at Findings (a bead store) and then continued on to Zingerman's Roadhouse for a wonderful valentine lunch of their famous Macaroni and Cheese
After lunch we went downtown to The Bead Gallery, where I bought a couple of beads, then on to our last stop of the day the Jackson Antique Mall in Jackson. Here I got a couple more cards
Our final purchase was my Valentine gift from Don. He found something but wanted to make sure I didn't have it already and that the price was ok. So I got it a day early.
A Georgene Raggedy Ann for my collection and a rare "Rags" book from Saalfield publishing.
I hope everyone has a "Sweet Valentine's Day"
Happy Valentine's Day
