This weekend was the second show of the season. I was hoping for a big crowd and to sell lots so I would have money for the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee in a couple of weeks. Well.......... Saturday co-operated for set-up and wasn't to warm and there was no rain until evening. So I was able to set up with no problems. On Sunday morning the rain held off. We kept checking the radar because rain and storms were predicted. About 1:30 the storms had moved ashore so we knew it would only be about a half hour before the rain hit. I packed my jewelry table up so I would have room under my canopy for the furniture. About 2:00pm they came around to tell us to start packing because high winds and bad storms were coming. I got everything under my canopy before the rain hit. Boy did we get rain, I had very little damage because I use plastic totes, but my booth got flooded, as did the booths around me.
The black trailer is mine and I had a lake right behind my doors where I load.

On Monday I went to the first "Burley Park" of the year. It's the best flea market for buying, there are only five all season, three of them being on holiday weekends. After getting so wet and tired on Sunday I almost decided not to go. But I went and got some awesome stuff.

and my favorite purchase of the day a flowerbox, I already went and got flowers for it. The only question, What to do with it when it rains? It's not exactly and outdoor item.
We left the flea market after 4 hours of shopping due to the 90 degree temps. All and all an extreme weather weekend.
