A couple of weeks ago we went to Bead Haven in Frankenmuth. My mom picked out Christmas beads and asked me if I could make her a bracelet to wear for Christmas. Here is that bracelet, I finished it and gave it to my mom yesterday.
I'm currently worked on a bracelet for myself that I hope to finish this week.
Yesterday we decided to attend the last antique show of this year in our area. It was a small show and not very well attended. I did however find 3 absolutely cool items I love and all 3 were very reasonably priced. The first booth I went to was a good friend of mine and I bought a cabinet of drawers from her.
after purchasing the drawers I was happy. I didn't care if I found another thing. I finished with the first aisle and headed down the end and went into the end booth and stopped short, there was a crazy quilt table cloth in a basket with some other linens. I picked it up expecting a hefty price tag and did a silent "YES" when I saw the price. In that same both I saw the cutest teapot, super cheap, and bought that as well.
Above are all three purchases.
I went down the other 2 aisles but the only other thing I found was a bag of "junk" watches.
Today I made this necklace, I think I will probably list it on Etsy.
and finally , today we saw these beautiful swans in a field about 3 miles from our house. Maybe they were headed somewhere warmer?
