I was asked to participate in a "Secret Santa Jewelry Swap" hosted By Molly Alexander. All of the names of the artists were put in a random secret Santa generator and we were told by Molly who we were making our piece of Jewelry for. I finished my piece and it's on it's way to a special jewelry artist. Today's mail brought my gift from the talented Tami Roth. When I got home from work there was the package sitting on the counter just calling out to me "open me". I made a deal with myself that I could open it after I got done with some chores. I cleaned out the fridge, loaded the dishwasher and then sat down at the table and slowly opened the rather large box, savoring every moment. Tami was so kind to include some buttons, yarn, patterns and other misc. I then opened the blue box, slowly....just a peek at a time....and saw this piece of lace with a cool rusted, patina-ed heart. Thank-you Tami. What a wonderful new piece of jewelry I have!
Well I've been busy and neglected to post a few things. Last weekend I went to Columbus, Ohio to a wonderful Christmas Bash at Kari's house. My online group "The Altered Art Divas" had a big bash. Kari taught a wonderful polymer clay snowman canvas, here it is. I was also in a wonderful Christmas ornament swap, here is my contribution I got a lot of really cool ornaments , which I will post this over this next week.
